Where we store your data

We only store data with our hosting provider Flywheel. Flywheel is a voluntary participant in the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework (“EU Framework”), which you can learn more about at the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Privacy Shield site at  As a participant, Flywheel is subject to the investigatory and enforcement powers of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission and any other authorized U.S. agency.

How long we retain your data

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the services you have requested and thereafter for a variety of legitimate administrative purposes. Records of browsing behavior are retained for thirty days.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

Data security

Due to the open nature of the Internet, transmitting data to Flywheel must only be done via approved data transmission channels. We will endeavour to ensure your data is transmitted to us using the known best practice approaches, including utilisation of encryption where appropriate. Once your data is received, it will be stored within the Flywheel data environment. We follow generally accepted standards to store and protect the personal data we collect, both during transmission and once received and stored.

What rights you have over your data

Visitors who have left comments on this site, can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about them, including any data they have provided to us.
